1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Service Description

Fancy Futures provides professional translation and interpretation services including but not limited to:

• Document translation services
• Certified translation services
• Website localization services
• Interpretation services (consecutive, simultaneous, and remote)
• Proofreading and editing services
• Cultural adaptation and consulting

3. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Submit clear, legible source materials
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Pay for services according to agreed terms
• Inform us of any specific requirements or deadlines
• Review and approve translations within reasonable timeframes
• Use our services for lawful purposes only

4. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Pricing is based on:

• Word count of source material
• Language pair and complexity
• Delivery timeline requirements
• Specialized subject matter
• Certification requirements

Rush orders (delivery within 24-48 hours) incur additional charges as specified in our pricing structure.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed
• For new clients, payment may be required before commencement of work
• Large projects may require a deposit or milestone payments
• Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month
• All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable

6. Delivery and Revisions

Delivery: We aim to meet all agreed delivery deadlines. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including client delays in providing materials or feedback) may affect delivery schedules.

Revisions: We offer reasonable revisions at no additional charge when:

• The revision addresses an error in the translation
• The request is made within 7 days of delivery
• The source material has not changed

Additional charges may apply for revisions due to changes in source material or client preferences.

7. Quality Assurance

We maintain high-quality standards through:

• Use of qualified, experienced translators
• Proofreading and editing processes
• Subject matter expertise matching
• Quality control procedures

While we strive for perfection, we cannot guarantee that translations will be completely free of errors. Our liability is limited as specified in Section 10.

8. Confidentiality

We understand the sensitive nature of many documents and maintain strict confidentiality:

• All staff and contractors sign confidentiality agreements
• Documents are handled securely and destroyed after completion (unless retention is required)
• We do not share client information with third parties without consent
• Additional NDAs can be signed upon request

9. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your source materials. The completed translation becomes your property upon full payment. You grant us the right to:

• Use your materials solely for the purpose of providing translation services
• Create derivative works (translations) as part of our services
• Retain copies for quality assurance and legal compliance

You warrant that you have the right to submit materials for translation and that they do not infringe on third-party rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, consequential, or special damages
• Loss of profits, business, or data
• Damages arising from delayed delivery (except where gross negligence is proven)
• Errors in source materials provided by the client
• Decisions made based on translated content

For certified translations, our liability extends only to the accuracy of the translation itself, not its acceptance by third parties.

11. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing
• Cancellations before work begins: Full refund
• Cancellations after work has started: Pro-rated charges for work completed
• Rush order cancellations may incur additional fees
• Refunds are processed within 14 business days

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or other unforeseeable events.

13. Dispute Resolution

We encourage direct communication to resolve any issues. If disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation:

• Disputes will be governed by the laws of England and Wales
• Courts in Manchester, England shall have exclusive jurisdiction
• Alternative dispute resolution may be considered

14. Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Upload malicious software or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to extract content
• Submit false or misleading information

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and, where appropriate, notified to existing clients via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
